Ok, so here's my first real blog.  This is my current project that I've been working on.  My gramma saw this pattern from in a magazine, American Patchwork & Quilting, can't remember which issue, I'll have to find that later.  She got the idea that me, her and my mom all do our own rendition of the quilt.  Needless to say it's been a couple years since we've started, lol.  I'm about half way through mine, I'm working on all the applique blocks.  Gramma is probably about half way through too.  And mom, well she's still thinking about it.  YUP, I just called my mom out.  LOL.  Anyway, I love working with batik fabrics so I had to do this in all batiks.  I saved the applique blocks til last because I'm not that great at it, but since I've been working on them I've gotten a little better.  Here's a glimpse on what it's going to look like.  Please leave me a message and let me know what you think.
